Host name should start with an alphabetic, remaining can be alphanumeric characters. Host name length may be from 2 to 63 characters. Comments: This field is active and may be edited whenever at least one of the IP Source or IPv6 Source options is set to Dynamic. This is the name of the DHCP Host from which dynamically assigned IPv4 or IPv6 addressing parameters are acquired. The initial value for this field is supplied from the BMC, if there is a DHCP Host available. The user can edit the existing Ho or enter a different DHCP Host Name. If none of the IP/IPv6 Source fields is set to Dynamic, then this BMC DHCP Host Name field will be grayed out and inactive. 20.
