2 Introduction Your server is a blade-model server that is one of up to 14 blades that can be installed in the SBCE unit, This high-performance blade server is ideally suited for networking environments that require superior microprocessor performance, efficient memory management, flexibility, and reliable data storage. This Hardware Maintenance Manual and Troubleshooting Guide and other publications that provide detailed information about your blade server are provided in Portable Document Format (PDF) on the Resource CD. A set of user labels comes with the blade server. When you install the blade server in the SBCE unit, write whatever identifying information you want on a label and place it on the SBCE bezel just below the blade server, as shown in the following illustration. 1
