2. Hardware Setup Hardware Setup 2.1 Chassis Cover 2.1.1 Removing the Chassis Cover 1. Loosen the two thumbscrews on the read panel to release the rear cover from the chassis. Figure 9. Rear Panel Thumbscrews 2. Firmly hold the cover and slide it toward the rear panel for about half an inch until disengages from the chassis. Figure 10. Sliding the Chassis Cover 3. Lift the cover from the chassis. 2.2 Central Processing Unit (CPU) Each installed server node provides two surface mount LGA 1366 CPU sockets designed for the Intel® Xeon® Processor 5500 series and 5600 series.
