Select Configure. 7.3.1.2 Configuring a RAID Set The LSI* Software RAID Configuration Utility allows you to create a RAID 0, RAID 1, or RAID 10 set using either of two options from the Configuration Menu: Easy and New. Both options allow you to configure parameters for the RAID Set being created. The difference between the two is the New Configuration gives you the additional option to define the size and number of virtual drives to create within each RAID Set. Configuring a RAID Set
The LSI* Software RAID Configuration Utility allows you to create a RAID 0, RAID 1, or
RAID 10 set using either of two options from the Configuration Menu: Easy
and New.
Both options allow you to configure parameters for the RAID Set being created. The
difference between the two is the New Configuration gives you the additional option to
define the size and number of virtual drives to create within each RAID Set.
Use the following process to create a RAID set:
