Chapter 7 - Troubleshoot and Maintain the Computer Find Your Configuration Number Use the following procedure to help you find the configuration number of your computer. • Look at the label on the back of the computer. Find Your Operating System Version Use the following procedure to find the OS version of your computer. • Tap Start > Control Panel > About. The OS version is displayed in the Versions tab as the Intermec Content version. View WWAN Settings Use the following procedure to view your current WWAN settings. • Tap Start > All Programs > OneClick Internet > Settings and click the Info tab. Reset the Computer If the computer is not responding or an application locks up, you may need to reset the computer. The computer uses the configuration currently saved in flash memory during the boot process. Find Your Configuration Number
Use the following procedure to help you find the configuration
number of your computer.
Look at the label on the back of the computer.
Find Your Operating System Version
Use the following procedure to find the OS version of your computer.
Tap
Start
> Control Panel
> About
. The OS version is displayed
in the
Versions
tab as the Intermec Content version.
View WWAN Settings
Use the following procedure to view your current WWAN settings.
Tap
Start
> All Programs > OneClick Internet
> Settings
and
click the
Info
tab.
Reset the Computer
If the computer is not responding or an application locks up, you may
need to reset the computer. The computer uses the configuration
currently saved in flash memory during the boot process. There are
two ways to reset the computer:
Restart or shut down the computer
Disconnect the UPS battery
Restart or Shut Down the Computer
If an application is not responding, you can try to restart or shut down
the computer.
