Startup Options From the Configuration/Setup Utility main menu, select Start Options to view or change start-up configuration settings. Startup Sequence The startup sequence is used when the system is powered on by the power switch. The startup device will include Floppy, LS120, HDD-0, SCSI, CDROM, HDD-1, HDD-2, HDD-3, ZIP100, LAN and Disabled. First Boot Device The default is set to Floppy. Second Boot Device The default setting is HDD-0. Third Boot Device The default is CD-ROM. Boot Other Device The default value is Enabled. Keyboard NumLock Status This parameter displays when the NumLock function on the keyboard turns on automatically each time you turn your computer on. You can set this to On or Off. The default is On. Disketteless Operation When enabled, the BIOS issues the seek command to the diskette drive during POST to move diskette drive head forward and backward.
