Using Advanced Features of Your ThinkPad Increasing Memory Increasing memory capacity is an effective way to make programs run faster. You can increase the amount of memory in your computer by installing a dual inline memory module (DIMM), available as an option. Different capacities of DIMM (up to 64 MB) are available. You can install a DIMM directly in the memory slot on the bottom of the computer. Your computer memory capacity can be expanded up to 96 MB (32 MB base memory and a 64 MB DIMM option). Increasing memory capacity is an effective way to make programs
run faster.
You can increase the amount of memory in your
computer by installing a dual inline memory module (DIMM),
available as an option.
Different capacities of DIMM (up to 64 MB) are available.
You can
install a DIMM directly in the memory slot on the bottom of the
computer.
Your computer memory capacity can be expanded up to

Installing the Memory Option

Turn off the computer; then remove the battery pack,
disconnect the AC Adapter and all cables from the
computer.

Turn the computer over.

Remove the screw on the memory slot cover.
