Chapter 9. Configuring the server Lenovo provides the following programs for you to configure your server: • Setup Utility program: The Setup Utility program is part of the server firmware. You can use the Setup Utility program to view your server configuration, change the startup device sequence, set the date and time, and set passwords. For information about using this program, see "Using the Setup Utility program" on page 111. • Ethernet controller configuration: For information about configuring the Ethernet controller, see "Configuring the Gigabit Ethernet controller" on page 128. • LSI onboard SAS controller Configuration Utility program: Use the LSI onboard SAS controller Configuration Utility program to configure the onboard 1068E SAS RAID controller with RAID capabilities and the devices that are attached to it. For information about using this program, see Onboard 1068E SAS RAID controller Configuration Utility program. • Add-on SAS RAID controller Configuration Utility program: Use the add-on SAS RAID controller Configuration Utility program to configure the supported RAID controller with RAID capabilities and the devices that are attached to it. For information about using this program, see the MegaRAID SAS Software User Guide on the documentation DVD that came with you server. Lenovo provides the following programs for you to configure your server:
Setup Utility program:
The Setup Utility program is part of the server firmware. You can use the Setup
Utility program to view your server configuration, change the startup device sequence, set the date
