7. Position the RAID controller near the riser card assembly. Ensure that the left edge of the RAID controller is inserted into the notch of the RAID card retention bracket 1 , and then firmly insert the RAID controller straight down into the PCI card slot 1 2 until it is securely seated. Then install the screw 3 to secure the RAID controller. Figure 49. Install the riser card with the RAID controller into an appropriate PCI card slot on the system board. 9.
