6. Connect the mini SAS signal cables to the RAID controller and the backplane by doing the following: Note: Use the two 440 mm (17.32 inches) mini SAS signal cables. Figure 38. Then, connect the other end to the mini SAS signal connector 2 on the backplane. b. For the other mini SAS signal cable, connect one end to the ports 4-7 on the RAID controller.
