4036-501 Flatbed Scanner Top Cover Assembly Removal 1. Remove the DADF assembly. See "DADF Assembly Removal" on page 4-9 for more information. 2. Remove the user interface panel. See "User Interface Panel Removal" on page 4-49 for more information. 3. Remove the six (6) screws. 4. Release the latches on the sides. 5. Remove the cover assembly by shifting it to the front while raising the rear. Note: Disengage the notch on the front side. Flatbed Scanner Top Cover Assembly Removal
1.
Remove the DADF assembly. See
“DADF Assembly Removal” on page 4-9
for
more information.
2.
Remove the user interface panel. See
“User Interface Panel Removal” on
page 4-49
for more information.
3.
Remove the six (6) screws.
4.
Release the latches on the sides.
5.
Remove the cover assembly by shifting it to the front while raising the rear.
Note:
Disengage the notch on the front side.
Warning:
Take care not to damage the flatbed open sensor assembly.
