Using Flash Using external flash Using only the FL-40 external flash You can select whether to use only the external flash or use the built-in flash and external flash together. When you are using the external flash, you can specify that the built-in flash does not fire to avoid depleting the camera's batteries. DIAL P A/S/M 1 Mount the FL-40 external flash on the dedicated flash bracket.
