Focusing on close-up subjects (Macro mode) Use Macro mode to shoot close-up subjects. When the camera is set to telephoto (at the T setting), you can shoot at distances of as little as 7.9" so that a business card fills the entire frame. Because the area actually photographed differs slightly from the area visible through the viewfinder in this mode, use the monitor as the viewfinder.
