Saving/erasing images right after shooting (CHECK) This feature displays the picture you have just taken before it is saved to the card and allows you to select whether to save the image or erase it. To access this option, select "CHECK" in the "REC VIEW" setting. (P.183) When you select CHECK After you take a picture, use the procedure below to select whether to save or erase the image. P A/S/M 1 If you selected "CHECK", a confirmation screen appears after you take each shot in which you can select whether to save or erase the picture. NO 1 8 q In " " mode, pressing the (Menu) button plays the CHECK confirmation screen in Still picture shooting mode Mode setup movie so you can check the content. q If there are multiple images in buffer memory, you can use the Arrow pad to select images, the zoom lever to enlarge images, and index display mode to select NO images. CHECK confirmation screen in Movie : Displays the previous picture. record mode : Displays the next picture. : Displays the first frame : Displays the last frame. q The CHECK option is not available in TIFF mode. q If the buffer memory contains pictures shot using Auto Bracket, the darkest image is displayed first. Pressing the button displays the next darkest image. 184
