How to load envelopes Orientation of envelopes Side-opening envelopes Exposure glass Recommended Paper Sizes and Types Tray 1 Bypass tray • Flaps: closed • Bottom side of envelopes: toward the front of the machine • Side to be scanned: face down • Flaps: closed • Bottom side of envelopes: toward the left of the machine • Side to be scanned: face down • Flaps: closed • Bottom side of envelopes: toward the left of the machine • Side to be printed: face up When loading envelopes, specify the envelope size and thickness.
