Edit profiles You can change the properties of a profile such as its ring type, notification method, and volume level for each profile. To edit a profile, follow these steps: 1. Highlight the profile that you wish to edit, then press the right soft key ( ) Menu. A pop-up menu appears in the display with Edit highlighted. 2. Press . The list of profile settings in the following table appear in the display. 3. Press or to highlight the profile setting that you want to edit. Profile setting Name Ring Type Ring volume Alarm type Alarm volume Notification type Notification volume System sound volume Function Rename the profile. Select from several different ring types for incoming calls for this profile. Select the default ringing volume for incoming calls for this profile. Select whether you wish an alarm to vibrate, vibrate then sound, increase in volume, and more for this profile. Select the alarm for alarms for this profile. Select how you are notified of incoming messages for this profile. Select the volume of notifications for incoming messages for this profile. Set the volume for alerts, keypresses, and other sounds that are made when your Smartphone responds to an action for this profile. 4. Press or to change the selection for the highlighted setting. 28
