Using T9 text entry The fastest and easiest way to enter text into messages is using T9 Text Input. To spell a word using T9, you only have to press one key per letter of the word that you're spelling. For example, to spell Samsung you would press each of the following keys only once: It's best not to look at the screen while writing a word. As you enter letters, occasionally matches to other words appear in the display. T9 dictionary entries Occasionally, the word that appears isn't the one that you had in mind. If this happens, simply press (while the word is underlined) to cycle through available words in the T9 dictionary. Entering special characters in T9 mode SYMBOLS IN T9 MODE 1. To enter symbols while writing a word or letter, press and hold until the Symbols screen appears in the display. 2.
