If the modem icon appears grayed out, your i600 Smartphone is in dormant mode. Your data connection is maintained, but your data session is inactive. When you return to Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger, or download or send email, dormant mode ends and your active data session resumes. To end an active data session, press . You will see the antenna icon display, indicating your phone is in standby mode. Programming speed dial After you've added names or numbers to your Contacts list, you can then assign a speed dial location (keypad number) to the contact. Once a speed dial location is assigned, you simply press and hold the assigned key or keys on the keypad to dial the number. There are 98 Speed Dial locations available (2-99), Speed Dial locations 0 and 1 are reserved and not available for assignment. 1. At the Home Screen, press the right soft key Contacts. If Call History appears as the right soft key (instead of Contacts), this means that you have a missed a call. Press the right soft key Call History and view the number to clear Call History from the Home Screen. 2. Programming speed dial
After you’ve added names or numbers to your
Contacts
list,
you can then assign a speed dial location (keypad number) to
the contact. Once a speed dial location is assigned, you
simply press and hold the assigned key or keys on the
keypad to dial the number. There are 98 Speed Dial locations
available (2-99), Speed Dial locations 0 and 1 are reserved
and not available for assignment.

), this means that you have a missed a call. Press
the right soft key

and view the number to clear
