Entering text and symbols SPACES IN T9 MODE • To enter a space after a word, thereby accepting the word and proceeding to the next word, press . Activating multi-tap • While at any text entry screen, press and hold until ABC, ABC, or abc appears in the upper right corner of the display. Multi-tap modes Multi-tap mode is indicated by the following icons in the upper right corner of the display. ABC - Uppercase only. Any letters that you enter will be in uppercase, or all capital letters. ABC - Initial caps. Only the first word of each sentence is in capital letters. abc - Lowercase.
