Page 40 highlights

Certificates Digital certificates are used to protect transactions over the Internet and allow your Smartphone to establish a secure connection. A digital certificate contains identifying information about the certificate holder, the name of the certificate authority that issued the certificate, and a public key for encryption (PKI), which is used to secure documents being sent to a recipient. The Certificates sub-menu allows you to manage the certificates installed on your phone in the Personal and Root directories. Personal certificates positively identify you to others, while root certificates positively identify the certificate authorities who issue digital certificates. To access the Certificate sub menu, follow these steps: 1. At the Home Screen, press the left soft key ( ) Start, then press until Settings is highlighted. 2. Press , then use the navigation key to highlight Certificates. 3. Press then use or to highlight either the Personal or Root sub-menus. 4. Press then use or to browse certificates installed on your phone. 5. Press the left soft key ( ) Done when finished. 32

Certificates

The Certificates sub-menu allows you to manage the
