Before removing or replacing the battery cover, make sure the phone is switched off. To turn the phone off, hold down the power key until the power-off image displays and then touch Power off. Removing the battery cover 1. Locate the cover removal opening (1). 2. Place your fingernail in the opening and pry the cover away from the phone (2). Caution!
