Notice that the bearing and distance to the cursor are shown at the bottom of the map, together with the scale. If the cursor happens to be on a map object, the name of the object is displayed. To restore the Map Info: a. Make sure you are in the Position Mode. b. Press [MENU]. c. With Show Map Info highlighted, press [ENTER]. You will be returned to the Map screen with the data fields displayed. Customizing Map Info Note: You can select which information is displayed at the bottom of the Map screen. The first two options: Two Data Fields, or Street Info are available for change. The other two options: Horiz. Profile and Terrain Project. require uploading topographic information from a special Magellan MapSend Topo CD. Contact your Uniden dealer for more information. If you try to select and set either of these options, you will see a warning message. a. Be sure you are viewing the Map screen in Position Mode. b. Press [MENU]. 72
