Basic Guide Try Playing a Variety of Instrument Voices Using the Metronome The instrument features a built-in metronome (a device that keeps an accurate tempo), convenient for practicing. 1 Press the [METRONOME ON/OFF] button to start the metronome. Current setting Setting the Time Signature Here, we'll set a time signature of 3/4 as an example. 1 Hold down the [METRONOME ON/OFF] button for longer than a second to call up "Time Signature - Numerator." The time signature is shown on the display. Indicates the beat number in the measure. 2 Press the [METRONOME ON/OFF] button again to stop the metronome. Adjusting the Metronome Tempo Press the [TEMPO/TAP] button to call up the Tempo value, then use the dial to adjust the Tempo value. Tempo Hold for longer than a second Numerator (Number of beats per measure) Denominator (The length of one beat) NOTE • The metronome time signature will synchronize to a Style or Song that is selected, so these parameters cannot be changed while a Style or Song is playing. 2 Rotate the dial to select "3." A bell will sound on the first beat of each measure while the other beats will click. 3 Press the CATEGORY [f] button to call up "Time Signature - Denominator." ton again to stop the metronome.
Adjusting the Metronome Tempo
Press the [TEMPO/TAP] button to call up the Tempo
value, then use the dial to adjust the Tempo value.
Press the [EXIT] button to return to the MAIN dis-
play.
Setting the Time Signature
Here, we’ll set a time signature of 3/4 as an example.

Tempo
