The Functions The "Functions" provide access to a range of detailed instrument parameters such as Tuning, Split Point, Voices and Effects. Take a look at the Function List (pages 67-69). When you find the desired Function you want to change, follow the instructions below. 1 Find the desired item in the Function List on pages 67-69. 2 Press the [FUNCTION] button to call up the FUNCTION display. 4 Use the dial, the [+] and [-] buttons, or the [0]-[9] number buttons to set the value of the selected function. To restore the default value, press the [+] and [-] buttons simultaneously. In the sole case of the MIDI Initial Send function, pressing the [+] button executes the function while pressing [-] cancels it. Direct numeric entry. 3 Press the CATEGORY [r] or [f] buttons several times until the desired item appears. • Decrease value by 1. • OFF • Cancel Press simultaneously to recall the default setting. • Increase value by 1. • ON • Execute Some Function settings are maintained even if you turn off the power, and can be transferred to the computer as Backup Data (page 49).
