Chapter 4 Tutorial 4.3 NWA Setup in AP and Wireless Client Modes This example shows you how to restrict wireless access to your NWA. 4.3.1 Scenario In the figure below, there are two NWAs (A and B) in the network. A is in Access Point (AP) mode while station B is in Wireless Client mode. Station B is connected to a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) server. You want only specified wireless clients to be able to access station B. You also want to allow wireless traffic between B and wireless clients connected to A (W, Y and Z). Other wireless devices (X) must not be able to connect to the FTP server. Figure 17 FTP Server Connected to a Wireless Client 4.3.2 Configuring the NWA in Access Point Mode Before setting up the NWA as a wireless client (B), you need to make sure there is an access point to connect to.
