ESC I Printable Code Area Expansion Format: ASCII code: ESC I n Decimal: 27 73 n Hexadecimal: 1B 49 n Comments: ASCII codes 0 to 31 and 128 to 159 are usually not printable. These codes become printable upon input of the ESC I code if n = 1, which allows the use of these codes for user-defined characters.
