Panel LEDs Power (POWER) LED: Paper roll near-end (PAPER OUT) LED: Green On: Off: Red On: Off: Blinking: (*1) Near-end detector is an option. Error (ERROR) LED: Red On: Off: Blinking Power supply of +24V is stable. Power supply of +24V is not stable. Paper roll near-end is detected. (*1) Adequate paper remains on the paper roll (normal condition). Waiting for restarting test printing on paper roll or for return to on-line status after automatic paper feeding. Off-line (except during paper feeding using the FEED button and during the self-test). Normal operation. Error state. (Refer to the Error types and countermeasures in Chapter 4.) The printer has a self-test function that checks the following:
Control circuit functions
Printer mechanisms
Print quality
Control ROM version
DIP switch settings.
See Chapter 4 for instructions on running a self-test.
