Connect Using a USB to USB Cable

Make sure your computer is turned
on.

Lift open the cable access door on
the back of the printer.

Plug one end of the USB cable into
the USB port on the printer.

Plug the other end of the USB cable
into the USB port on the computer.

HP DeskJet 895C Series Printer

then to the HP JetDirect 300X External Print Server.

Connect the HP JetDirect power cord to the power port on the HP JetDirect
