Displaying Zone Information Chapter 24 Configuring and Managing Zones Send documentation comments to [email protected] Step 3 Command switch(config-zone)# attribute read-only switch(config-zone)# no attribute read-only Purpose Sets read-only attributes for the Sample2 zone. Note The default is read-write for all zones. Reverts the Sample2 zone attributes to read-write. To configure the read-only option for a default zone, follow these steps: Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Command switch# config t switch(config)# switch(config)# zone default-zone vsan 1 switch(config-default-zone)# switch(config-default-zone)# attribute read-only switch(config-default-zone)# no attribute read-only Purpose Enters configuration mode. Enters the default zone configuration submode. Sets read-only attributes for the default zone. Reverts the default zone attributes to read-write (default). Displaying Zone Information You can view any zone information by using the show command. If you request information for a specific object (for example, a specific zone, zone set, VSAN, or alias, or keywords such as brief or active), only information for the specified object is displayed. If you do not request specific information, all available information is displayed. See Examples 24-1 to 24-16.
