NOTE: With the introduction of FOS 6.1.1, certain features and functions were removed from WebTools (resident in the firmware) and migrated to the DCFM management application. This has been carried forward to FOS 6.2.x and later. HP recommends that before upgrading to FOS 6.2.x or later, if you are not running DCFM on your fabric, you review the "WebTools functionality moved to DCFM" on page 37 and note what has changed in order to assess the impact to your fabric. To access the latest FOS 6.3.0b firmware, configuration files, and MIB files, see the HP website: http://www.hp.com/support/downloads On the website: 1. Under Storage, select Storage Networking. 2. Select the link for the appropriate switch, select your product, and then select Cross operating system (BIOS, firmware, Diagnostics, etc.). 3. Select Firmware. 4. Select V6.x Firmware for HP StorageWorks B-series Fibre Channel Switches for FOS 6.3.0b. • To download the firmware, click Download. • To read the release notes, click the Release Notes tab. To verify that the firmware download is complete, enter the firmwareDownloadStatus command on the switch, verify that the process is complete, and then proceed to the next switch. HP Storage Essentials support HP Storage Essentials SAN management application 6.1.1 or later is supported with FOS 6.3.0x. Earlier versions of HP Storage Essentials are not supported with FOS 6.3.0x due to the incompatibility of Storage Essentials with the SMI-S 120.10.0 agent. FCIP, FCIP Trunking and High Bandwidth (1606 Extension SAN Switch and DC SAN Director Multiprotocol Extension Blade) • FCIP connections are supported only between the 1606 Extension SAN Switch/DC SAN Director Multiprotocol Extension Blade and another 1606 Extension SAN Switch/DC SAN Director Multiprotocol Extension Blade. FCIP tunnels are not supported between the 1606 Extension SAN Switch/DC SAN Director Multiprotocol Extension Blade and the previous generation HP StorageWorks 400 Multiprotocol Router and HP StorageWorks Multiprotocol Router Blade platforms. 24
