ifName value returned for xGBE port in WebTools does not match CLI output. Fixed in FOS 6.3.0a If the ITL nexus in tape (target containers with initiator) to handle multiplex/multistream environment is greater than 200, decreased performance is seen for some containers. Fixed in FOS 6.3.0a Workaround prior to code change: Reduce IT configurations (target containers with initiators) to 200. NPIV tape devices may not be seen by hosts due to name server not sending subsequent PLOGI ACC following a sequence where NPIV device sends LOGO before link down. ifName
value returned for xGBE port in WebTools does not match
CLI output.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0a
Workaround prior to code change:
Reduce IT configurations (target
containers with initiators) to 200.
If the ITL nexus in tape (target containers with initiator) to handle multi-
plex/multistream environment is greater than 200, decreased perform-
ance is seen for some containers.

sending subsequent PLOGI ACC following a sequence where NPIV
device sends LOGO before link down.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0a
Workaround prior to code change:

after inserting the
supported SFP.

Extension Blade will continually showail No_Sync status if non-B-series
SFP was inserted and then replaced with B-series SFP.

Solution
Closed defect summary
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0b
When an unsupported SFP is installed in an HP StorageWorks DC
SAN Director Multiprotocol Extension Blade, the amber LED flashes to
indicate a fault, as it should. However, if an optical cable is plugged
into the SFP, the amber LED extinguishes. The actual port status is un-
changed.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0b
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Use the CLI to view the configured
IOD state when IOD is enabled with
the Lossless DLS solution.
When Lossless DLS is enabled, WebTools incorrectly shows
iodset
off
, but the CLI shows that it is enabled.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0b
In a rare case, a buffer leak in the rekey daemon causes an HP Stor-
ageWorks Encryption SAN Switch fault during rekey. A power cycle
is required to recover.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0b
HP StorageWorks Encryption SAN Switch does not rejoin Encryption
Group after a reboot, resulting in a split Encryption Group.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0b
Incorrect port shows I/O traffic on 2408 FCoE Switches and 10/24
FCoE Blades.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0b
When launched from DCFM, WebTools fails with a license error.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0b
The host cannot recover if a back-end tape target becomes unrespons-
ive during encryption switch-initiated commands.
