With McDATA default zone enabled, when numerious NPIV devices in the default zone come online at the same instant, some devices were missing from portcam table. Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 Workaround prior to code change: This is due to multiple devices logging in simultaneously. So apply portdisable to all ports connected to the devices and apply portenable sequentially. This will resolve the issue. NPIV devices in Interopmode 2 default zone is not supported. NPIV devices should be part of the active zone configuration. Fabric mode TT does not show all the flows when device port is disabled and enabled back after TT monitor installation. Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 If using WebTools to perform cfgsaveactivetodefined with a zone file close to the maximum size in an interop mode fabric with more than 20 switches, the weblinker process may get terminated. Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 In a mixed fabric of VF enabled and non-VF switches, a VF enabled switch may not be able to detect the FID conflict with the other VF enabled switch, if there are non-VF switches in the path interconnecting the VF enabled switches. Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 Workaround prior to code change: Follow the raslog errors FABR-1044 or FABR-1043 displayed by switches in the fabric to identify the offending switch and resolve the FID conflict. IPC message from module CALD to Management Server is dropped Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 by Management server. This causes CALD module to wait indefinitely. Sometimes config file downloaded may cause the configdownload command to crash. Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 Workaround prior to code change: Disable the switch and then attempt configdownload. After changing FID on HP StorageWorks 8/40 SAN Switch and then performing switchenable, switchdisable, observed ASSERT. Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 Workaround prior to code change: Do not disable a switch immediately after enabling, if it's coming up with a new FID for the first time. Wait for sometime (at least 10 s) before issuing switch disable. HA cluster member node, HP StorageWorks Encryption SAN Switch faults as a result of slot powercycling its HA cluster peer (HP StorageWorks DC Encryption FC Blade). Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 Workaround prior to code change: Reboot the Encryption SAN Switch. IPL file is not getting updated, when a PDCM matrix is activated using Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 WebTools with "Active=Save Mode" checked. Fabric Watch failed to initialize on fully populated HP StorageWorks Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 DC SAN Backbone Director. Memory leak when querying connUnitPortFCId in Access Gateway (AG) mode and also when querying FcFeModuleName. Fixed in FOS 6.3.0 Workaround prior to code change: Avoid querying FcFeModuleName or (connUnitPortFCId in AG mode) MIB to avoid memory leak. 44

Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
Workaround prior to code change:
This is due to multiple devices logging
in simultaneously. So apply
portdisable to all ports connected to
the devices and apply portenable
sequentially. This will resolve the
issue. NPIV devices in Interopmode 2
default zone is not supported. NPIV
devices should be part of the active
zone configuration.
With McDATA default zone enabled, when numerious NPIV devices
in the default zone come online at the same instant, some devices were
missing from portcam table.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
Fabric mode TT does not show all the flows when device port is dis-
abled and enabled back after TT monitor installation.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
If using WebTools to perform cfgsaveactivetodefined with a zone file
close to the maximum size in an interop mode fabric with more than
20 switches, the weblinker process may get terminated.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
Workaround prior to code change:
Follow the raslog errors FABR-1044
or FABR-1043 displayed by switches
in the fabric to identify the offending
switch and resolve the FID conflict.
In a mixed fabric of VF enabled and non-VF switches, a VF enabled
switch may not be able to detect the FID conflict with the other VF en-
abled switch, if there are non-VF switches in the path interconnecting
the VF enabled switches.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
IPC message from module CALD to Management Server is dropped
by Management server. This causes CALD module to wait indefinitely.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
Workaround prior to code change:
Disable the switch and then attempt
configdownload.
Sometimes config file downloaded may cause the configdownload
command to crash.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
Workaround prior to code change:
Do not disable a switch immediately
after enabling, if it's coming up with
a new FID for the first time. Wait for
sometime (at least 10 s) before issuing
switch disable.
After changing FID on HP StorageWorks 8/40 SAN Switch and then
performing switchenable, switchdisable, observed ASSERT.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
Workaround prior to code change:
Reboot the Encryption SAN Switch.
HA cluster member node, HP StorageWorks Encryption SAN Switch
faults as a result of slot powercycling its HA cluster peer (HP Storage-
Works DC Encryption FC Blade).
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
IPL file is not getting updated, when a PDCM matrix is activated using
WebTools with "Active=Save Mode" checked.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
Fabric Watch failed to initialize on fully populated HP StorageWorks
DC SAN Backbone Director.
Fixed in FOS 6.3.0
Workaround prior to code change:
Avoid querying FcFeModuleName or
(connUnitPortFCId in AG mode) MIB
to avoid memory leak.
Memory leak when querying connUnitPortFCId in Access Gateway
(AG) mode and also when querying FcFeModuleName.
