and Energy Save Mode When the machine has been idle for a long period of time, the energy save mode will activate to reduce power consumption. The energy save mode consists of the "low power mode" and the "sleep mode", which further reduces power consumption. Use to activate or cancel the energy save mode. „„ Low Power Mode ••When is pressed, the touch panel display and the various lamps are turned off and the printer enters a dormant state (the low power mode) to reduce power consumption. ••If the machine is not used for one minute, it will automatically enter the low power mode. Power Switch and Energy Save Mode
<Energy Save> and Energy Save Mode
When the machine has been idle for a long period of time, the energy save mode will
activate to reduce power consumption. The energy save mode consists of the “low power
mode” and the “sleep mode”, which further reduces power consumption. Use <Energy
Save> to activate or cancel the energy save mode.

Low Power Mode
When <Energy Save> is pressed, the touch panel display and the various lamps are
turned off and the printer enters a dormant state (the low power mode) to reduce power

mode.

When in the sleep mode, all power is turned OFF, but documents scanned into memory

Note
The energy save mode does not activate if the machine runs out of paper, a printing
