Setup and Registration Encryption Box: a b *1 **O*f*f 2 On 11 Press the  or  key to select [On] or [Off]. NOTE: When the machine receives originals, the encryption box is not used. Box Number Entry: M b (0000 - 9999) ****0000* 12 Press the OK key. Proceed to the next step or step 15 when [On] or [Off] is selected in step 11, respectively. 13 Use the numeric keys to enter the box number (0000 to 9999). 6 14 Press the OK key three times. 15 Press the Start key. The transmission will start. Operation at the Receiving System To conduct encryption communication operating the receiving system, follow the steps below. NOTE: In encryption communication, sub address communication cannot be used. Encryption RX: a b 1 *Off *2 **O*n 1 Register the encryption key you have arranged with the sending system. (Refer to Registering an Encryption Key on page 6-26.) 2 Press the System Menu/Counter key. 3 Press the  or  key to select [FAX]. 4 Press the OK key. 5 Press the  or  key to select [Reception]. 6 Press the OK key. 7 Press the  or  key to select [Encryption RX]. 8 Press the OK key. 9 Press the  or  key to select [On]. 10 Press the OK key. 6-29
