Copying Functions Zoom Copying Adjust the magnification to reduce or enlarge the original image. The following zoom options are available. NOTE: When magnification ratio is larger than 201%, the images will be rotated 90° counter-clockwise prior to copying. Auto Zoom Automatically reduces or enlarges the original image suitably to the selected paper size. 4 IMPORTANT: When this is to be used as the default Mode, set the Auto Sizing on page 5-15 to on. Manual Zoom 25 % 5 1/2 × 8 1/2": 64 % A5: 70 % 200 % 1 Place the originals on the platen. The original's size will be automatically detected. 2 Press the Auto%/100% key to light up the Auto% indicator. 3 Press the Paper Selection key to select the copy paper. The magnification is displayed on the message display. 4 Press the Start key to start copying. Manually reduces or enlarges the original image in 1% increments between 25% and 400%. IMPORTANT: When the zoom ratio is changed in the Auto Paper Select Mode, the zoom ratio for the selected paper size is also changed to match the zoom ratio. 1 Place the originals on the platen. 2 Press , , or the OK key. Zoom Copying
Adjust the magnification to reduce or enlarge the original image. The following zoom options are available.
NOTE:
When magnification ratio is larger than 201%, the images will be rotated 90° counter-clockwise prior to
copying.
Auto Zoom
Automatically reduces or enlarges the original image
suitably to the selected paper size.
IMPORTANT:
When this is to be used as the default
