Use with earlier TVsets may give unpredictable results. Processors used before the 22101006 04 have a limited screen display capability. They cannot display entire screens as shown in the quick setup instructions accompanying the LT2002 clone programmer. Use the printed menu illustrations on the quick setup sheet supplied with the Clone as an aid to making your programming choices. (Although the menus are not al! displayed, the clone functions all operate normally.) Crone Programmer Troubleshooting CLone Programmer CLoning Notes: WhiLe clone is copying or transferring a master setup, do not touch or otherwise disturb clone or connections between clone and TV. CLoning a master TV setup should take at Least 45 seconds. Transferring the master TV setup to the target TV should take at Least 45 seconds. Monitor LED on clone to assure that the blinking heartbeat pattern is present throughout clone operations. After cloning, be sure Lo disconnect power from the target TV for about 15 seconds. Probtem Remote does not operate clone. LED does not blink. CLonemenu hard to read. No time set. PossibLe Cause(s) • Wrong InstaLLer remote. • M.P.I. cord not connected. • L26W58HA not turned on. • Weak batteries. • Weak signaL. • Time not available. PossibLe SoLution (s) - OnLy use an appropriate InstaLLer remote to operate clone programmer with L26W58HA. - Connect M.P.I. cord. - L26W58HA must be powered On for clone to work. -lnsta[[ 4 fresh AA high-quaLity aLkaLine batteries. - Connect L26W58HA to a reLiabLe AnaLog channel signal source. - Set time on a TV, copy time to CLone Programmer. CLone not working. • CLone programmer problem. CLone Scans ChanneLs more than once. • CLone should only scan channels once. - Try a differenLtT2002 CLone programmer. - Reset CLone Programmer. - Retrycloningagain. Master and Other L26W58HA CLoning did not work. • Procedure interrupted. • Different TV models. • Step(s) omitted or not performed. • Insufficienctloning time. • CLoningerratic. CLone time disappeared. • Batteries were removed. New Setup not present. • L26W58HA not reset. - Wait unfit procedure complete message is displayed. - CLoning is onLy possible with identical model TVs. - Reread 43 - 44 - 45 pages to be sure aLLtasks were performed. - Redo cloning and be sure Learning/teaching time is about 1 rain. and 5 to15 seconds (75 seconds). - Reset CLone Programmer. - Batteries must remain instaLLed to retain time settings. - Disconnect newly cloned unit from power for 5 seconds. • After cloning operations are complete, just unplug the LT2002 from the L26W58HA. • If the L26W58HA does not display u picture on the TV (blank screen) after u few seconds, just change channels.
