Appendix Moving and Transporting the Printer • When moving the machine, each person should hold the handle on the sides, and lift slowly. Lifting carelessly or dropping it may cause injury. • When moving the printer, remember to unplug the power cord from the wall outlet to avoid fire or electric shock. • When pulling out the plug from the socket, grip the plug to avoid damaging the cord and causing fire or electric shock. ❒ Basic model printer weighs approximately 83.3 kg (183.7 lb.), duplex unit standard model printer weighs approximately 92.5 kg (203 lb.). Protect the printer by using the original packaging when transporting. ❒ Be sure to disconnect all cables from the printer before moving it. ❒ This printer is a piece of precision machinery. Otherwise the printer could break or cause injury if dropped. • Before moving the machine, unplug the power cord from the outlet. If the cord is unplugged forcefully, it could become damaged.
