To access the browser options list: Ⅲ Press the Options soft key. To return to the previous web page: Ⅲ Press the Back soft key. To return to the refresh the current web page: Ⅲ Press the Options ➔ Navigate ➔ Reload. To return to the start-up home page: Ⅲ Press the Options ➔ Navigate ➔ Homepage. Entering Text in the WAP Browser To enter text in to a text field: 1. Use the Navigation keys to highlight a text entry field. 2. Press the key to select the field. The text input mode indicator appears in the upper right corner of the screen. 3. Press Options ➔ Text Mode and select T9 Predictive Text, Multitap, Numeric, or Symbols. - or - Use the key to change the text input mode. For more information, refer to "Changing Text Input Mode" on page 21. The following modes are available for Multitap: • ABC: Upper-case alphabet mode for entering upper-case characters. • abc: Lower-case alphabet mode for entering lower-case characters. The following modes are available for T9 Predictive Text: • T9AB, T9Ab, T9ab: T9 mode for entering characters by pressing one key per letter. In this mode, you can use only the 0 key to display alternative words. To change case, press the key. The following modes are also available: • 123: Numeric mode for entering numbers. • SYM: Symbols for entering symbols and punctuation marks. Press and hold the key to choose a symbol or punctuation mark. 4. Use the keypad to enter text, numbers, or symbols. 5. Press Cancel to back out of text entry mode. Entering Text in the WAP Browser
To enter text in to a text field:
1.
Use the Navigation keys to highlight a text
entry field.

Press the
key to select the field.
The text input mode indicator appears in
the upper right corner of the screen.

Press
Options
Text Mode
and select T9
Predictive Text, Multitap, Numeric, or
Symbols.

Use the
key to change the text input
mode. For more information, refer to

on page 21.
The following modes are available for
Multitap:
• ABC
: Upper-case alphabet mode for entering
upper-case characters.
• abc
: Lower-case alphabet mode for entering

The following modes are available for T9
Predictive Text:
