W W USING THE BACK LIGHT TOUCH BUTTON When a subject is lit from behind, this function will compensate for lighting so that the subject is not too dark. Touch the Back Light ( ) touch button to display ( ) icon on the screen. To cancel, touch the Back Light ( ) touch button again. T VIEW Back lighting influences recording when the subject is darker than the background: • The subject is in front of a window. • The subject is against a snowy background. • The subject is outdoors and the background is overcast. • The light sources are too bright. • The person to be recorded is wearing white or shiny clothes and is placed against a bright background: The person's face is too dark to distinguish his/ her features. USING THE LCD ENHANCER FUNCTION • Contrast is enhanced for a clear and bright image. This effect is also implemented outdoors in bright daylight. • You can also adjust the screen brightness in two-level increments, which provides a brighter screen than using just one-level increment for your recording. 1. Touch the LCD Enhancer ( ) touch button. • LCD adjust ( ) indicator appears and the LCD brightens. 2. You can switch the LCD Enhancer function in the following order each time you touch the LCD Enhancer ( ) touch button. • LCD Enhancer 1-level ( ): LCD Enhancer is executed. • LCD Enhancer 2-level ( ): This setting is brighter than the LCD Enhancer 1-level.
