Call Waiting, Making a 3-Way Call

Call Waiting When you're on a call, Call Waiting alerts you to incoming calls by sounding two beeps. Your device's screen informs you that another call is coming in and displays the caller's phone number (if it is available and you are in digital mode). New Incoming Call To respond to an incoming call while you're on a call: ᮣ Before accepting the incoming call, tap one of the following onscreen options: Ⅲ Accept to answer the new call. The first caller is placed on hold. Current Call Call Options Ⅲ Reject to send the call to your voicemail box. Ⅲ Silence mutes the ringer. Ⅲ Reject with msg to send the call to your voicemail box and immediately send the caller a text message. These Ignore messages can be created and stored on the device. To switch back to the first caller: ᮣ From the In-Call options screen (shown here), tap Swap. Tip: For those calls where you don't want to be interrupted, you can temporarily disable Call Waiting by pressing PQRS before placing your call. Call Waiting is automatically reactivated once you end the call. Making a 3-Way Call With 3-Way calling, you can talk to two people at the same time. When you’re on a call, Call
Waiting alerts you to

two beeps. Your device’s
screen informs you that
another call is coming in
and displays the caller’s
phone number (if it is
available and you are in
digital mode).
To respond to an incoming
call while you’re on a call:

incoming call, tap one
