Messenger, you can switch between the following screens to access various features. Contacts screen After signing in to Yahoo! Messenger, the Contacts screen appears. All of your contacts ( page 108) are displayed. When a contact is highlighted, his or her comment is displayed. The meaning of the status icons are described in the table below. Contact Status Icon (Online) (Busy) (Offline) (Idle) (Pending) Contact's status Your contact is online. Your contact is online, but has chosen to have their status show as busy and might not be available. The contact appears to be offline. Your contact is idle. The contact will appear on your contact list as pending until that person responds to your request. Continued 
