Table of Contents Index 124 Communication - Ad Hoc Application...Music Streaming When other users start streaming your playlists When you connect your unit to the wireless network in the Ad Hoc mode, other users who are already registered in your Ad Hoc Contact List can start streaming your shared playlist. When a user starts streaming your shared playlist, and the user's name appear on the status bar of the display. When a user who is not registered in your Contact List tries to stream your shared playlist, a message appears on your unit asking you to add the user to your Contact List. Follow the instructions in the display to add or not add the user. Note • You cannot stream music files in the "Memory Stick Duo" and copy protected WMA files. Quitting the Ad Hoc Application There are two ways to quit the Ad Hoc application and disconnect from the other user's unit. To quit the Ad Hoc Application from the Ad Hoc Contact screen 1 On the Home menu, press / to select "Communication," and then press the center button. 2 Press / to select "Ad Hoc Application," and then press the center button. 3 Press / to select "End Connection," and then press the center button. When other users start streaming your playlists
When you connect your unit to the wireless network in the Ad Hoc mode,
other users who are already registered in your Ad Hoc Contact List can start
streaming your shared playlist. When a user starts streaming your shared
playlist,
and the user’s name appear on the status bar of the display.
When a user who is not registered in your Contact List tries to stream your
shared playlist, a message appears on your unit asking you to add the user to
your Contact List. Follow the instructions in the display to add or not add the
user.
Note
• You cannot stream music files in the “Memory Stick Duo” and copy protected WMA
files.
Quitting the Ad Hoc Application
There are two ways to quit the Ad Hoc application and disconnect from the
