Table of Contents Index 120 Communication - Ad Hoc Application Enjoying Audio Files with Another User (Music Streaming) The Music Streaming feature of the Ad Hoc Application enables you to share music with your friend's Personal Communicators in the following way: • Enjoying music on other user's unit • Sharing music on your unit for other users to stream Enjoying music on other user's unit You can listen to audio files streamed over wireless network from another user's unit, provided you both are registered in each other's Ad Hoc Contact List. You can listen only to the audio files on the other user's unit that is identified to be shared.  On the Home menu, press / to select "Communication," and then press the center button.  Press / to select "Ad Hoc Application," and then press the center button. The unit automatically turns on the wireless LAN in Ad Hoc mode. The WIRELESS LAN indicator lights up green, and the status indicator lights up orange. When the connection to wireless network in Ad Hoc mode is completed, the Ad Hoc Contact screen appears, and starts blinking on the status bar of the display. A list of nearby users who are online in Ad Hoc mode is displayed. To register a specific user, the user's unit and your unit must both be turned on wireless network in Ad Hoc mode at the same time. Enjoying Audio Files with Another User
(Music Streaming)
The Music Streaming feature of the Ad Hoc Application enables you to share
music with your friend’s Personal Communicators in the following way:
• Enjoying music on other user’s unit
• Sharing music on your unit for other users to stream
Enjoying music on other user’s unit
You can listen to audio files streamed over wireless network from another
user’s unit, provided you both are registered in each other’s Ad Hoc Contact
List.
You can listen only to the audio files on the other user’s unit that is identified
to be shared.
