Table of Contents Index 74 Communication - Skype Adjusting Settings (Tools) On the Contacts screen, press / to select "Tools," and then press the center button. The Tools screen appears. Press / to select an item, and then press the center button. The options or settings display for the selected item appears. Example: "General" settings Items on the Tools screen On the Tools screen, you can adjust the following settings and perform the following operations. Item Settings - General Setting or operation • Ringtone: Selects the ring tone sound: OFF/Bubbly/Old Phone/ Bounce/Boing/Sing-a-Long. The default setting is "Sing-aLong." • Ringtone Volume: Adjusts the ringtone volume between 0 (silent) and 5 (loudest). The default setting is 3. • Call Volume: Adjusts the volume of caller's voice between 0 (silent) and 5 (loudest). The default setting is 3. • Sound Alert: If set to "ON" (default setting), alert sounds when new event comes in. • Show Music Info: If set to "ON," the name of the track you are listening to is displayed to your contacts. The default setting is "OFF." • Emoticons: When set to "Show" (default setting), emoticons entered during chats appear on your screen as graphic images. • Show Time Stamp: If set to "ON" (default setting), a time stamp is attached to each conversation entry.
