AVLS stands for the Automatic Volume Limiter System. Text Input Assist If set to "ON," word predictions are displayed in the bottom ( below) of the text entry screen as you enter characters with the keyboard ( page 16). The default setting is "OFF." Reset Settings Restores the unit to its original factory settings. This will delete all personal information such as IDs from your Instant Messaging application. But it does not delete the files stored in the unit, such as music, video files, Bookmarks, and text files. In order to delete these, format the storage ( below). Format Storage Reinitializes the internal memory. When the internal memory is initialized, all data stored in the unit is erased.
