Setting the delay at zero allows you to use the manual trigger button on the Lab Cradle to start the collection. See Using the Manual Trigger to Start the Collection. 6. Click OK. The Remote Setup dialog box opens. A message is displayed telling you how to start the collection and that it is safe to disconnect the data collection device. 7. Disconnect the sensor. 8. View the LED lights to determine if the sensor is ready to collect data. • Red. Indicates that the system is not ready. • Amber. Indicates the system is ready, but is not collecting data. • Green. Indicates the system is collecting data. 9. Press the trigger to collect data. Setting Up the Sensor for Triggering To start data collection based on a specific sensor reading, the TI-Nspire™ Lab Cradle and sensor must be connected. You must set the sensor and the threshold type for the system to use when collecting data. When the trigger is reached, the sensor starts collecting data. To set up the trigger: 1.
