Chapter 10 VLAN 10.5.3 Configure a Static VLAN Use this screen to configure and view 802.1Q VLAN parameters for the Switch. See Section 10.1 on page 129 for more information on static VLAN. To configure a static VLAN, click Static VLAN in the VLAN Status screen to display the screen as shown next. Figure 74 Advanced Application > VLAN > Static VLAN The following table describes the related labels in this screen. Table 50 Advanced Application > VLAN > Static VLAN LABEL ACTIVE Name VLAN Group ID VLAN Profile Port DESCRIPTION Select this check box to activate the VLAN settings. Enter a descriptive name for the VLAN group for identification purposes. This name consists of up to 64 printable characters. Enter the VLAN ID for this static entry; the valid range is between 1 and 4094. Select a VLAN profile in which you can specify the action the Switch takes on incoming unknown multicast frames and whether to enable MAC address learning for this VLAN.
