CHAPTER 31 DoS Prevention This chapter explains the DoS Prevention screens. 31.1 DoS Prevention Overview To protect against DoS (Denial of Service) attacks such as SYN flooding and Ping of Death, the Switch can use filtering actions to determine when to start dropping packets that may potentially be associated with a DoS attack. 31.2 Configuring DoS Prevention Click Advanced Application > DoS Prevention in the navigation panel to display the screen as shown.
