CHAPTER 38 Diagnostic This chapter explains the Diagnostic screen. 38.1 Diagnostic Click Management > Diagnostic in the navigation panel to open this screen. Use this screen to check system logs, ping IP addresses or perform port tests. Figure 230 Management > Diagnostic The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 167 Management > Diagnostic LABEL System Log DESCRIPTION Click Display to display a log of events in the multi-line text box. IP Ping Click Clear to empty the text box and reset the syslog entry. Select to ping an IPv4 or IPv6 address, and the interface to send IP ping packets (defaultmanagement, inband-vlan, inband-default, out-of-band). When you select inband-vlan in the Outgoing interface field, you have to also specify a VLAN ID for the ping conditions. VES1724-56 User's Guide 356
