Why does my phone display "Bad Encrypted Config"? The IP phone displays "Bad Encrypted Config" because encrypted configuration files are enabled but the decryption process has failed. Report this error to your System Administrator. How do I restart the IP phone? You may want to restart your phone to check for updates on the server, or to apply specific settings to your phone that need a reboot. You may also need to restart your phone if you have been asked to do so by your System Administrator, or should you experience any unexpected behaviour.
